Cilantro Chutney: Green Crack

2021-03-08

I went to the farmers’ market on Saturday (post to come on that) and bought a bunch of cilantro. Other than dropping it in soups, I wasn’t sure exactly what to do with it. But my friend shared a recipe from @chiefspicemama with me for a Cilantro Chutney, and I declare it to be Green Crack.

It’s so easy. I adjusted a little to my taste and what I had, and it was very tasty.

How to make it:

In a food processor, add in a literal bunch of cilantro, 1 shallot, a few cloves of garlic, salt, pepper, a few splashes of olive oil, a splash of water (to get the right consistency), basil, and a big squeeze of lime. Hit that food processor go button and that’s it!

I put it on my avocado toast this morning, and I realized I’ll never do avocado toast without it, ever again.
