So it turns out, I managed to have a Thanksgiving dinner in Paris!! Our program paid for a dinner at Joe Allen, a restaurant with roots in New York and another branch in London. We were even served plenty of red wine, of course. It was really good and I really, really appreciated it, but I still would have traded this meal and a lot more to be with my family at home or with one of my best friends and her family, doing a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the States. But still, I absolutely cannot complain – got the Pumpkin Pie in my tummy to prove it. Merci à Sweet Briar JYF!!
