Now that I’m back on my feet, I’ve been going on runs through the streets of Paris, sometimes along the Seine, sometimes along St. Michel. I live just on the border of the 9th and 10th arrondissement and I’ve been running to the Ile-de-la-Cité, by the Notre Dame, which is approximately the 4th arrondissement. The cobblestone doesn’t have much give on my feet, but there are also parks like Jardin du Luxembourg that I might start running to so that it’s easier on my joints and limbs (lots of food to support…).
Here’s something along the lines of what my run is like:
Which is why running isn’t too bad here. Regardless, I’ve been treating myself to lunch after every run because there also just happens to be a street full of the best kebab places, chocolatiers, and bakeries. Just coincidental that I end my run there.
Lunch after run today: Pita Grec (there’s lettuce, tomato, and yogurt sauce SO SHUT UP IT’S HEALTHY)
